GP Basic (Korean: 지피 베이직 is a South Korean 6 member girl group who debuted on August 15, 2010. They are considered to be the "2nd youngest" South Korean girl group as of 2010.[1]
History
The group is composed of six girls under GP Basic Entertainment. The girls made their debut with their song "Game" in August 2010. The group's average age during their debut was 13.5 years old, causing controversy. Despite their young age however, they proved to be just as talented as older artists. In November of 2010, the youngest member, Janey, was prohibited to perform on music shows due to new regulations regarding age.
