olivia lufkin (born december 9, 1979), known as olivia, is a bilingual she is the daughter of anOlivia Lufkin (born December 9, 1979), professionally known as OLIVIA, is a bilingual singer-songwriter. She is the daughter of an American father and an Okinawan mother. Her two younger siblings are Jeffrey Lufkin, who is a musician she collaborates regularly with and Caroline Lufkin, who is an independent musician. Lufkin began her solo career after being in the Japanese girl group D&D. She gained mainstream success in 2006 after creating songs for the fictional band Trapnest under the alias of Olivia Inspi' Reira (Trapnest), and the songs were used for the popular anime adaptation of Nana. Early beginnings Olivia Lufkin was born on December 9, 1979 in Okinawa, Japan. In 1982, she moved to San Diego, California then back to Okinawa. Olivia later moved again to North Carolina for two years before moving back to Okinawa. Olivia was discovered by the director of "Rising Productions" (Vision Factory) while attending the Okinawa Actors' School, subsequently signing to Avex Trax as part of the Japanese idol group D&D. Famed producer Tetsuya Komuro heard of Olivia one day and decided that she would be perfect for a project in which he was planning along with Jean Michel Jarre. The project was to create the theme song for the 1998 FIFA World Cup entitled Together Now. The single was released a month after D&D's first and only album. It was then decided that D&D would disband and be separated into two different groups: 'Olivia' as Olivia's solo-project and Aya & Chika as Aya & Chika from D&D. 1999–2002: Solo beginnings In contrast to her work with D&D, her first single, "I.L.Y. (Yokubō)", had a driving pop rock sound. While she did not write her first two singles, which were composed and produced by T2ya, she wrote her third single, "Dear Angel", and most of her singles since then. In 1999 and 2000, Olivia would release six singles, all with a pop-rock sound. Toward the end of 2000, she released her first solo album, Synchronicity, which contained all singles released to date, five previously unheard tracks, and one bonus track. It would peak at the number twenty position on the Oricon Charts. After a hiatus of more than a year, Olivia began to take control of her career, releasing her seventh single "Sea Me" on December 12, 2001. This single marks her switch to one of Avex Trax's sub-labels, Cutting Edge, from which she continues to release singles and albums. Her releases would become increasingly rare and sporadic from then on, with a Video Clips Collection being issued four months later. Olivia's next single, "Into the Stars", was planned to be released in July 2002 with an album released at the end of the year. However, plans were changed as the single was postponed until September due to market forces and the album release similarly delayed. 2003–2004: New style 2003 saw a complete style change with Olivia's music and an onslaught of mini-albums as she began a series of collaborations with her brother, Jeffrey Lufkin. During this time, her music became considerably darker in both style and lyrical content than seen before. Instead of singles, four mini-albums would be released exclusively through Tower Records Japan in Shibuya, Tokyo. These include: Internal Bleeding Strawberry, Merry&Hell Go Round, Comatose Bunny Butcher and The Return of the Chlorophyll Bunny. Alongside this, Olivia decided to launch a rare-items fashion label called Black Daisy Ville with her friend Friedia Niimura (Rin Kozue). This fashion line would continue until the summer of 2004 in which a line of clothes and items were released. Friedia later moved to United States and the line discontinued. Then in 2004, she released her second album The Lost Lolli. This album primarily featured the best material from her four mini-albums and introduced two new tracks, "Alone in Our Castle" and "Fake Flowers" as well as two re-arrangements. The album was released nation-wide with a limited first press version available at Tower Records Japan. "SpiderSpins (Lost Lolli Mix)" would be used as a promotional radio single and video for the release. The Lost Lolli would only peak at #111 on the Oricon Charts. However, despite the moderate success of the album, Avex Trax released an overseas version of this album, reflecting Olivia's increasing success outside of Japan. Typically, only chart-topping artists release overseas versions of their albums. 2007–present: Modest success On January 17, 2007, The Cloudy Dreamer was released in CD and CD+DVD formats. The album debuted at number fifteen on the Oricon Weekly Charts - her highest ranking album to date. In addition to the singles previously released, the mini-album also featured the songs: "Dream Catcher", which was used as the ending theme for the live action television drama series of Jigoku Shōjo, "If You Only Knew", which was used as the main theme for the Korean drama, The Snow Queen, as well as an English version of Wish. Later in February, the compilation album Olivia Inspi' Reira (Trapnest) was released featuring the singles from the Nana and some new songs. Nana Best, another compilation album, was released shortly thereafter. This album featured the hit songs from the anime and one unreleased song by both Olivia and Anna Tsuchiya. Olivia and Anna would go on to perform these songs together live at Shibuya-AX in March 2007. July 6, 2007, Olivia held a concert in Paris, France at the popular venue, La Locomotive singing songs from Olivia Inspi' Reira (Trapnest), The Lost Lolli and The Cloudy Dreamer. She would also make a special guest appearance at the Japan Expo on July 6 and 7. A new song, 'Bleeding Heart' - a collaborative effort with her brother, Jeffrey Lufkin, was produced for the Vision Factory compilation album Flower Festival: Vision Factory Presents. The compilation album contains songs set to the theme of 'flowers' by various other artists such as Lead, Fungo, and Hiro. It was released on March 19, 2008 Olivia released her sixth mini album, Trinka Trinka, on September 17. which featured a new song called "Rain", which was used as the second ending theme to K-tai Investigator 7. The album compiled of all new material. There was much confusion about the track line up, however few of the track titles were changed such as the highly anticipated song "Real Love" which was premiered during her concert in Paris with was renamed to "Your Smile" and quite possible "I'm So Excited" was retitled as Trinka Trinka. Following the release of this mini album, Olivia held a live show on 24 October 2008 at Shibuya Womb. in which over 600 fans came. On December 30, 2008, Olivia participated in a duo showcase with Inoran in which she covered a few of his songs such as Owl's Tear and Monsoon Baby. They also talked about their new collaboration single which was released on April 15, 2009. It's titled Sailing Free and it served as the theme song to a new game of the saga Sengoku Basara, called "Sengoku Basara Battle Heroes". Sailing Free was also Olivia's first single in three years. Trinka Trinka was re-released in France which included Sailing Free and it's b-sides (Love Love Love and Undress) along with a bonus track which was revealed to be World's End Girlfriend's remix of If You Only Knew. The bonus track had previously been featured on Olivia's myspace page. Following this re-release of Trinka Trinka, Olivia remained fairly quiet throughout early 2010. It was then announced that Olivia will give a concert for the visitors of the German Anime convention Connichi 2010. The Connichi 2010 took place at the Kongress Palais of Kassel (former Stadthalle Kassel) on the 10 to 12 September 2010. Olivia talked about a new release, a Greatest Hits album which was released on October 13, 2010. Due to the release there was much concern that Olivia was retiring from the musical business but through her official facebook page, Olivia assured her fans that she was not quitting and that she is planning to release new material after the release of her Greatest Hits album. The Greatest Hits album included two brand new tracks called 'Sunlight' and 'Be Your Friend'. These tracks saw another turn in the direction of Olivia's musical style; a combination of Trinka Trinka's pop style and the Lost Lolli's dark electronica.

Lee U first gained popularity in 2005 when he participated in many variety programmes with his father. he was originally set to debut as a solo singer under the name U (Korean: 唯) LeeU also participated in the SBS Drama Gourmet soundtrack in 2008. Jin On, Kan and Ye Jun used to be members of a dance team that included several singers from Korea, such as Rain. Jin On, Ye Jun and Kan attended Anyang High School of Arts in Anyang. 2010: Debut F.Cuz was officially announced by CAN&J's entertainment on December 6, 2009. Starting from that day, one member per day was revealed to the public in short videos that showcased their talent. The videos had over 30,000 views. Afterwards, F.Cuz began filming the music video for their first single, "Jiggy", on December 15, 2009. The single was then released in digital format on January 8, 2010, alongside their debut performance on KBS's music show Music Bank. After a short break, they digitally and physically released their "No One" (EP) on March 11, 2010. 2010: Comeback with a new album F.Cuz has come back with a new album called "Gorgeous" with the title track "Midnight Sun" on November 18, 2010. After eight months of hiatus, many fans were anticipating their comeback. Their single, "Midnight Sun" has become a huge hit and the group is earning more recognition. In order to prevent being labeled as a "failure group", F.Cuz released another single from their album, "친구졸업 (Friend's Graduation), renaming it as "Wanna Be Your Love". This song has a very cute and bubbly image that completely contradicts to the dark concept of "Midnight Sun" and F.Cuz is steadily gaining more popularity. Unfortunately, member Kan has recently been involved in a serious car accident after filming for the drama Athena: Goddess of War and going back to Seoul. He, his manager and four other people in the car received major and minor injuries after the car slipped on ice and crashed, forcing the group to halt activities for their new song.

The members include Shin Soohyun, Elison Kim (also known as Eli), Kevin Woo, Shin Dong Ho, Lee Kiseop, Hoon and AJ ( both joined the group in 2011 ). U-KISS stands for Ubiquitous Korean International (Idol) Super Star. They debuted in Japan on August 15, 2008 and in South Korea on August 28, 2008. Later in late 2009, six-member U-KISS was turned into seven-member U-KISS with the addition of Lee Kiseop. When members Alexander Lee Eusebio and Kim Kibum left in early 2011, they were replaced by Hoon and AJ. The group has released one full-length album, five mini albums and various singles. Their first full length album, Only One, was released on February 3, 2010. The members of the group have had various activities as solo entertainers, such as acting in dramas, movies, sitcoms, and musicals and hosting various reality-variety shows and music shows. Pre-debut U-KISS first was formed as a six-member boy-group. Kim Ki Bum ( former member ) and Kevin Woo were former members of the boy band Xing. Kim Ki Bum left the group in early 2007 while Kevin Woo left the group four months before the debut of U-KISS. 2008: Debut and members U-KISS debuted in Japan on August 15, 2008 at the Power of Atamix 08. The group released their first mini album, N-Generation, on September 3, 2008, with the main track, "Not Young". U-KISS later debuted in South Korea on August 28, 2008, with a performance of "Not Young" on Mnet's M! Countdown. 2009: New member and mini-albums U-KISS released their second mini-album on February 11, 2009, titled Bring It Back 2 Old School with its title song, "I Like You". U-KISS starred in the variety show, All About U-KISS, after their promotional cycle for "Bring It Back 2 Old School". Such shows include The Invincible Baseball Team and Idol Maknae Rebellion. The voies of Kevin and Alexander(former member)were featured in Brave Brother's music video "Finally". Eli and Ki Bum (former member)also starred in the Thai drama Autumn's Destiny. The drama was aired in Thailand only. As both Eli and Ki Bum (former member) could not speak Thai, their voices were dubbed. The drama aired its premiere episode on January 16, 2010. 2010: First full-length album and other activities On the January 18, 2010, U-KISS opened their official fan club, KissMe. Before the release of their first full length album, television station MBC stated that U-KISS would star in a new variety show called ''U-KISS' Vampire''. It premiered on January 22, 2010. The members moved into a dormitory that they stayed during the whole duration of filming. They were sorted into groups according to their blood types. Ki Bum (former member), Alexander (former member), Eli, and Kevin were grouped as Blood Type O. Soo Hyun and Ki Seop were grouped as Blood Type A. Dong Ho, the maknae (youngest member) was the only Blood Type B (with the exception of his manager). Their full length album, Only One, was released on February 3, 2010. The song "Without You", the title track, was first released on January 27, 2010 as a digital single. On April 15, 2010, U-KISS started promotions for their follow up song from their Only One album, titled "Mworago" (What). U-KISS also starred in a reality-variety show called Chef's Kiss, opening a real restaurant which they named U-KISSteak House. The seven members were split into teams and each week, cooking challenges were held among themselves to decide which team would be chosen to cook in the restaurant that week. Chef's Kiss aired its last episode on July 30, 2010. 2010: U-KISS promotional activities overseas Premiere Entertainment Philippines Inc. (PEP) brought U-KISS to Manila for a series of special mall shows from March 26–28. This was in line with the promotion of the band's full-length solo concert in the Philippines during June. U-KISS later held a concert in Manila, Philippines on June 14, 2010, at the Araneta Coliseum. On August 2, 2010, U-KISS members Alexander(former member) and Kevin are nominated to host Arirang's M-Wave program in both Korean and English. This concert was to celebrate the 20th Korea-Mongolia friendship anniversary for the two countries. 2011-present: 2011 activities Members Dong Ho, Eli, and Ki Seop have been cast for MBC every1’s special new sitcom, titled 'Real School'. Real School is 40-episode long sitcom series, for which they will play three high school students who board at an ‘English Village’ in an attempt to crack their fear of speaking English. Its pilot episode aired on January 10, 2011. Dongho is acting in his first drama, "Royal Family." Dongho will act as ‘Jo Byung Joon.' Dongho also has played in several films, including the 'Villain & Widow' and 'My Black Mini Dress'. U-Kiss is planning for a U.S. debut sometime next year. Kibum and Alexander's contracts have been terminated and have left the band as of the 23rd of February 2011 . They were both kicked out because NH Media claimed they were "lacking" in areas. The new members are Yeo Hoon Min and Kim Jae Seop, also known as AJ, the youngest member of Paran. The said event was taped and to be released on April 2, 2011 as the U-KISS First Kiss Tour in Manila DVD on three selected malls in the Philippines. The DVD is under Universal Records (Philippines) and is also for release in South Korea and Japan on June marking it's first anniversary special.

Their sound is lively and upbeat, similar to Ayabie, with a unique mix of punk, piano ballads, and pop rock. Formerly signed under NXSIE Records, they are now connected to Avex Group's HPQ label. Biography Megamasso was formed by Ryōhei, ex-guitarist of Ayabie. He recruited members relatively new to music to produce a fresh, new sound. Their first mini-album, Namida Neko, released on December 6th, was distributed through LIKE AN EDISON shops in Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya. On December 16th, Megamasso held their first LIVE at Shibuya O-East, which was then filmed and released on DVD Mega-star Tokyo. This concert included unreleased songs which would be available on their second mini-album, Kai no Mokutō no Zokuryō, released January 24th. Yūta decided to leave the band on June 9th because he was not interested in their current musical style.
